Last week I experienced two different types of falls. On Friday, I had breakfast at Café Cappuccino with Mom, and then spent the day with her and some friends at Hawaiian Falls. Got a little sun burn, but it was worth it. Then it was off to Tonkawa Falls on Saturday with some other friends. Cliff jumping was awesome.
My summer golf tournament golf schedule is ending, and dance intensives will be starting soon. I played in the Waco City Junior Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, and went to the driving range on a couple of other days. My dad says that my swing is getting much better. He thinks I need to spend more time practicing chipping and putting for a while now that tournaments are over. It sure is hot out there on the golf course right now. It makes me ready for fall, but not too ready. I still like the water parks and swimming pool for now.
I haven't forgotten camp, and all the great times we had there helping others an worshiping God. I really miss the worship services. The songs we sang were so powerful and uplifting. We are studying the Psalms on Sunday's in church every week right now. Today I read Psalm 96 with my dad. The first few verses say a lot about how we should worship.
96:1 Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord all the earth. 2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. 3 Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. 4 For great is the Lord and greatly to be Praised.....
I really like the songs we sing to God in our worship services, in the car when listening to K-Love and just singing the songs that stick in my head sometimes. Thank you God for giving us voices to sing your praise. I am going to try to do like Psalm 96 says, sing your praises and tell others about You.
I'll be in touch soon. JoJo out for now. BINGO BANGO!!!
